Working draft · Version 1.0

Framework & Standards

Forever Age™ describes intended interaction maturity through Human Equivalent Age, alongside an independent Role Profile. The framework applies an adult-equivalent reference and initially uses FA25, FA35, FA55, and FA75.

Human Equivalent Age

The maturity axis describes intended communication, judgment, social interaction, and emotional steadiness. The numbers are human-reference designations, not literal ages or a claim of psychological equivalence. Older designations do not automatically mean greater capability, higher quality, or a better robot.

Role Profile

The role axis describes the intended tasks, interaction setting, and operating boundaries. A companion, service, professional, or mentoring role does not by itself determine a maturity designation. These role examples are illustrative; detailed role criteria remain part of the working draft.

Assessment evidence

An assessment should identify the robot or model, relevant software and configuration versions, intended use, and the evidence supporting the proposed profile. Documentation and observed responses should be considered separately from a manufacturer’s declaration.

Calibration dimensions

The foundational draft identifies emotional modulation stability, judgment calibration, authority signaling, social reciprocity, and predictability. These are proposed areas for assessment. This preview does not publish validated numerical thresholds or a calculated Forever Age Index score.

Identity and change history

An RRID identifies a registered robot. An assessment record should identify the configuration assessed and the framework version used. Material software or configuration changes should be documented and reviewed for their effect on the profile; permanent identity does not make every assessment permanent.

Certification boundaries

Submitting information does not confer certification or permission to use a certification badge. This development preview does not issue certificates. Any future certificate must state its assessment scope, applicable standard version, and status without implying general safety approval or regulatory compliance.

Clear scope

Human Equivalent Age is distinct from manufacturing date, chronological age, expected service life, warranty, durability, and guaranteed lifespan.

Descriptions of emotional interaction concern observable behavior. They do not establish actual feelings, consciousness, self-awareness, legal personhood, or psychological equivalence to a human.

Forever Age does not replace human accountability or professional judgment and is not a medical or psychological diagnostic system.
